As a voluntary-aided school, the governors of Bishop Gilpin are responsible for setting the school's admissions criteria, in line with the national School Admissions Code 2021, and reviewing these annually.

OPEN MORNINGS FOR PROSPECTIVE PARENTS and CARERS 

We are delighted to announce the dates for our upcoming Open Mornings for Prospective Parents and Carers who are interested in applying for Reception or Nursery for 2024/2025.  

If you would like to attend one of the Open Mornings, please book a place using the links below.  

Each attendee will need to complete a separate form. Please note that to ensure effective safeguarding we will only be able to admit parents/carers who have registered in advance.

Our Open Mornings run from 9.00am to 11.00am and involve a presentation from the headteacher and a tour of the school.

ALL OF OUR OPEN MORNINGS ARE NOW FULLY BOOKED THIS SIDE OF THE APPLICATION DEADLINE. PLEASE CONTACT THE ADMISSIONS OFFICER TO BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST OR WHERE ARRANGEMENTS CAN BE MADE TO ACCOMMODATE ALTERNATIVE VIEWINGS OF THE SCHOOL AFTER THE DEADLINE.
