It can be tricky deciding whether or not to keep your child off school or nursery when they are unwell.

But there are Public Health Agency guidelines for schools that say when children should be kept off school and when they shouldn't.

If you do keep your child at home, it's important to phone us on the first day.

Can your child come to school?

On rare occasions, if your child has been prescribed medicine to be taken during the school day, staff will be able to administer this. 

Please complete and submit our REQUEST FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICINE IN SCHOOL form and you will be able to hand the medication to any member of staff at the gates.
