Year 6 Experience

Year 6 at Bishop Gilpin is a very special year. Children work hard towards their school entrance exams and SATs, but they also enjoy a new sense of responsibility in the school and take part in some great events.

Highlights include:

• Isle of Wight residential adventure holiday experience 

• Chessington World of Adventure

• Year 6 production

• Leavers' disco, yearbook and hoodies

• Leavers' service at St Mary's

• Entrepreneurial project: market research, designing, producing, marketing, selling, review of economic and team performance

• Public speaking training

   

"Year 6 was the best year at BG – I was in the school play and made good friends. I am really looking forward to my next school, but I am going to miss Bishop Gilpin so much."
